About the role

Wursthaus Kitchen is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team in the vibrant suburb of Battery Point, Hobart. As a casual role, you will be an integral part of our kitchen, responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional dishes that delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook high-quality meals from our diverse menu.

Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and food concepts

Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation and food safety

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Work closely with front-of-house staff to provide an exceptional retail experience for our customers

Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality or restaurant environment

Demonstrated expertise in preparing a variety of German and European dishes

Strong time management and organisational skills to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

A passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create delicious, visually appealing meals

Food safety and hygiene certification
