Kinexus is Australia's oldest Defence specialist recruitment agency, with clients and customers across the private defence industry and Department of Defence. We are looking to speak with Network Engineers who will be seeking their next contract role in the next 1-3 months in response to a client expressing a need to hire contract Network Engineers for projects in Defence.

The roles they hire for will be 12 month contract engagements working on-site with Defence customers and will require NV1 security clearance. The roles can be worked from Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne and will pay between $800p/d to $950p/d dependent on the position.

This person will have:

• Background working in a Network Engineer role in a Cisco technology environment with a CCNA or higher (or equivalent professional experience_)
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining networking hardware and technology (routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, etc)
• Understanding of Australian government and defence security frameworks and practices
• An NV1 security clearance or higher
