Position Purpose

The Contract ERP Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or D365 Finance & Operations) as part of a large-scale digital transformation in the travel sector. The focus of this project is the Finance function, with the aim of modernising and streamlining core financial processes and systems across the organisation.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong ERP delivery experience, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on leadership to drive outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery, effective change management, and successful transition to the new platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or D365FO) implementation.

Define and manage project scope, timeline, deliverables, budget, and resourcing.

Oversee project governance, risk management, and reporting to key executives.

Coordinate internal and external teams including Finance, IT, and vendor partners.

Ensure strong alignment across business and technology stakeholders.

Support and oversee data migration, systems integration, and UAT planning.

Drive change management activities, including training, comms, and business readiness.

Manage cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-implementation support.

Key Requirements

Essential

Proven experience delivering complex ERP implementations end-to-end.

Expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or D365 Finance & Operations (D365FO).

Strong understanding of finance modules (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, reporting, intercompany).

Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Solid knowledge of data migration, integration touchpoints, and ERP architecture.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive progress in complex environments.

Desirable

Experience in the travel or tourism industry.

Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM).

Familiarity with finance transformation programs or shared services environments.
