We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Payroll Implementation to oversee the successful delivery of Dayforce, working closely with integrators and key business areas to ensure a smooth and effective implementation.

This critical project involves having expertise in deep payroll expertise and strong stakeholder engagement. The new Payroll Solution includes the delivery of a new automated award interpretation via the Dayforce T&A module.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Implementation: Oversee the deployment of Dayforce, ensuring functionality meets business needs and compliance requirements.
• Stakeholder & Business Engagement: Collaborate with integrators, business units, and leadership to support a seamless transition.
• Contract Management: Manage contracts related to delivery, integration, and ongoing support, ensuring alignment with project goals and vendor commitments.
• Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption across the organisation.
• Handover & Ongoing Support: Facilitate a structured transition to post-implementation support, ensuring operational continuity and knowledge transfer.
• Compliance & Complexity Management: Address payroll intricacies within enterprise bargaining and commonwealth contract agreements.
• Strategic Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior executives and the board, including project risks, progress, and key milestones.

Key Requirements

• Proven delivery expertise in payroll solution implementation, preferably with Dayforce or a like system.
• Strong understanding of enterprise bargaining agreements and payroll compliance.
• Experience in contract management, vendor relations, and service delivery oversight.
• Ability to develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful system adoption.
• Demonstrated experience managing board-level reporting and governance requirements.
• Knowledge of water utility sector payroll operations (preferred).
