Owen & Plaistowe is a tax and accounting firm operating on the outskirts of the Perth CBD. We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our firm, greeting clients and managing front desk operations, handling enquiries, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome all visitors, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area at all times.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with appointment scheduling as required.
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries efficiently.
Provide general administrative support across departments, including data entry, scanning, and photocopying.
Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory; place orders as needed to ensure stock levels are adequate.
Process ASIC Annual Review Statements using NowInfinity software.
Forward Australian Tax Office (ATO) notices to clients using standard letter templates in FYI Docs.
Perform banking tasks as required.
Download and distribute electronic communications received from the ATO via the Tax Agent Portal.
Monitor and action items in the main company email inbox daily.
Sending out to clients their quarterly PAYG instalments/activity statements.
Assist with monthly invoicing and preparation of debtor statements.
Ensure pantry supplies such as milk and biscuits are adequately stocked.
Carry out additional tasks and projects as directed by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as a receptionist or in office administration are a plus.
Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professional attitude and conduct.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Having a car is desirable but not essential as may be required to run errands occassionally.
Touch typing skills would be an advantage.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Work is performed in an office environment.
Parking provided.
