About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Gordon Slater's medical practice in Potts Point, NSW. This full-time role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a warm and courteous manner

Efficiently managing patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations

Collecting and processing patient information, including registrations, payments and Medicare claims

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Handling general patient inquiries and providing relevant information

Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within a healthcare environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage a busy schedule and maintain accurate patient records

Proficiency in using medical software and administrative systems

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
