Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:00pm | School Term Only (40 weeks/year)

The Youth Partnership is committed to empowering young people through meaningful work placement experiences. We work collaboratively with high schools, industry partners, and local communities to create opportunities that help students thrive and meet their mandatory HSC Vocational Education & Training (VET) course requirements.

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated and organised Work Placement Coordinator to join our dedicated team on a part-time, term-based basis.

This role involves coordinating and administering student work placements across high schools and industry employers to ensure high-quality, supported experiences.

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm

🗓 School Term Based: 40 weeks per year (with school holidays off)

📄 Contract: Until the end of 2025, with possible extension subject to future funding

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and administer student work placements

Liaise with VET Coordinators/Teachers and host employers

Manage student online registrations and placement matching

Respond to cancellations and manage student-referred venues

Supervise students placed directly with The Youth Partnership, including virtual placements

Build strong relationships with schools, employers, and community stakeholders

Contribute to program resources and promotional material development

Represent The Youth Partnership at events and meetings

Other duties as required

About You

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive team player who can work independently

Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with learning database systems (Pathways)

Committed to high-quality service for students and stakeholders

Must have or be willing to obtain a current Working with Children Check and Police Check
