About the role:

Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leader

Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects/accounts. Work closely with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose Cisco’s suite of products, services, and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes. Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance, supporting presale activities, and translating business requirements into solution designs

Key responsibilities:

• Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects/accounts.
• Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance.
• Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Align technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
• Comply with and support company policies and processes

Role Specific Responsibilities:

• Work extensively with customers and internal/external resources on strategy, deployment, and optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
• Take a Technical Leadership role in the execution of delivery projects.
• Create, review, and approve project deliverables such as Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation Plans, Migration Plans, and Test Plans.
• Leverage software skills and tools to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions

Expertise:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, plus 10+ years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery

Competencies:

• Strong background in Enterprise Network architecture design and deployment.
• Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching solutions, including ISIS, OSPF, BGP.
• Understanding of Cisco SDA, DNA-Center, SDWAN, and Campus networks, including Meraki.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Perl is desirable

Certifications:

• Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certifications or equivalent experience

This contract is available for an initial 2 year contract with possible extensions. Located in Melbourne, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
