Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Technical Lead

About The Role
Our client, a large, NSW based government organisation, are looking to build out their Dynamics team to help them deliver a multi-year, core platform piece of work, aimed at improving the services they provide to the public. Working on multiple elements of the platform, this team is at the core of this strategic build, and they are looking for some key people to help drive this program of working forward.
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Technical Lead to join their Digital Services team and help drive the technical direction of our Dynamics 365 CE platform, supporting vital services that impact the daily lives of Sydney’s residents, businesses, and visitors.

About the Role
As the Technical Lead, you will lead the development, integration, and continuous improvement of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and vendors to design robust, scalable solutions that align with the organisation's digital transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

• Lead technical design, development, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
• Provide expert-level guidance on system architecture, integrations (Power Platform, Azure, etc.), and DevOps best practices.
• Oversee a team of internal developers.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, security, compliance, and performance across the platform.
• Stay current with Microsoft’s product roadmap and recommend improvements.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience leading the technical delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) solutions.
• Hands on experience building scalable solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
• Strong background in C#, .NET.
• Demonstratable experience using .Net to customise and integrate solutions on D365 CE.
• Experience developing solutions in the wider Microsoft technology arena.
• Previous experience as a .Net Software Engineer.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor developers and liaise with non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, Engineering Lead type role is likely essential.
