About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Family Support Worker who can build meaningful relationships with families, adapt to their evolving needs, and ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Enjoy a consistent Sunday shift each week, with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts in nearby suburbs!

  • Foster a nurturing family environment that encourages safety and emotional well-being for all members
  • Demonstrate positive parenting behaviors and support the development of healthy, meaningful family relationships
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements to maintain transparency and accountability
  • Encourage positive interactions and engagement between parents and children to strengthen their bond
  • Provide trauma-informed care by offering comfort, reassurance, and gentle guidance as needed

About you

  • Demonstrates proficiency in preparing reports and documentation tailored for legal contexts
  • Has experience supporting children affected by trauma, employing a compassionate and understanding approach
  • Is attentive to signs of child abuse and responds thoughtfully, adhering to established reporting protocols
  • Holds a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and has access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle
  • Currently possesses, or is open to obtaining, a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
