We are searching for an enthusiastic and self driven individual to join our team of Automation and Electrical Engineers in our Wetherill Park office. We are a specialist electrical contracting company with expertise in Industrial Refrigeration and Food Processing.

Our business has grown organically for almost 20 years into a team of over 40 staff, with offices in Wetherill Park and Perth. We design and build our own custom steel and modular control panels in Wetherill Park.

We are looking for an applicant with good AutoCAD (2D) skills for generating single line diagrams, schematics and MCC arrangements. The role includes marking up of mechanical drawings while generating cable schedules and test procedures for our installation teams to execute.

The successful applicant will:

work directly under the project manager for delivery or shop drawings and as built drawings

attend site inspections when necessary

assist in building BOMs for construction of switchboards

co-ordinate materials for construction of MCCs and delivery of materials for installation on site

become experienced with the design of large scale automation systems including the latest Allen Bradley hardware

become confident in designing OT network infrastructure

become experienced in implementing the latest in motor control for motors ranging from 0.25kW up to 500kW from the worlds leading suppliers including Allen Bradley, ABB, SEW & Danfoss

As a minimum to apply, you must have good CAD skills and be university qualified or have at least 5 years experience in the electrical trade.

While the majority or the role will be from our Wetherill Park office, the applicant needs to be aware that there is a requirement to travel for site co-ordination and to generate as built drawings. These sites are generally in regional areas or interstate. It is therefor a requirement that you have a valid drivers licence. We cover the cost of all transport and accommodation with generous living away allowance also provided.
