About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our NSW team. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong estimating experience and a technical background in the electrical industry.

You’ll play a key role in managing and developing project estimates, contributing to tendering processes, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and clients across a range of exciting commercial and industrial projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing and maintaining consistent estimating tools and pricing templates

• Preparing and managing medium to large-scale project estimates

• Supporting the estimating team and reviewing estimates prepared across the business

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to develop accurate scopes of work

• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project expectation

• Contributing to proposals and tenders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions

• Identifying project design and implementation risks and supporting project managers

• Promoting and complying with QA’s Health, Safety & Environment standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (or higher)

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in estimating or electrical project engineering

• Strong understanding of the electrical industry (construction and maintenance)

• Experience interpreting technical drawings and performing material take-off

• High attention to detail with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Bonus Points if You Have:

✔ Experience working with estimating tools/software

✔ Knowledge of project budgeting and financial modelling

✔ Familiarity with Australian Standards and safety requirements
