Identifying suitable projects and obtaining specification and consulting rights for major projects in healthcare/hospitals & aged care, education, large scale retail, office blocks and industrial markets.

Your responsibilities...

  • Your focus is split among, technical support, relationship management and business development. You are identifying new projects and servicing clients on specified projects in an effort to maintain or increase your share of business in SA & NT.
  • Promote the company and your product range to key decision-makers within the commercial market - specifiers, engineers, consultants, construction companies, contractors and end clients
  • Build a pipeline of project sales and systematically work your way through converting those sales
  • Account management of existing accounts and looking for opportunities to increase sales and profitability
  • Developing a business plan for your portfolio (key target markets and customers identified)
  • Achievement budgets and KPIs
  • Able to troubleshoot and be a solution provider to your customers
  • Provide technical support and expertise


You are...

  • A background in mechanical services, engineering, insulation, heating and cooling is ideal, but what is more important is the ability to understand your product and discuss the use case and suitable applications with your clients
  • A strong technical background, obtained from engineering or mechanical building products is ideal
  • Comfortable with consultative sales/solution sales and hunting for new projects
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Strong rapport with a broad range of customers
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
