About the role

Are you a dedicated and organised professional looking for a new opportunity? NQ Exhibitions' is seeking an Exhibition Manager to join our team in Cairns, QLD. This exciting role is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and delivery of our clients trade exhibitions, ensuring a seamless experience for organisers.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate the planning and execution of all aspects of the equipment hire for our clients exhibitions, from venue liaison to on-site logistics and post-event reporting

Liaise with organisers to understand their needs and requirements, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event lifecycle

Design and build custom exhibition stands and displays to meet the unique branding and showcasing needs of our clients

Manage the build budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring profitability

Oversee a team of permanents and casual staff build staff to ensure the smooth running of each exhibition

Continuously seek ways to enhance the organiser experience and drive growth

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in administration, preferably within the exhibitions or trade show industry but not essential.

Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Creative flair and an eye for design, with the ability to conceptualise and build innovative exhibition stands

Proficient in the use of software and tools

Flexible and adaptable, with a solutions-focused mindset
