The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Advanced/Specialist) to join our Townsville team. This pivotal role involves leading and developing a dynamic team of PBS practitioners in Townsville, while also providing support to our practitioners across the discipline. You'll play a key role in shaping service delivery and expanding our reach to underserviced areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PBS practitioners in Townsville.

Provide clinical supervision and support to practitioners across the organisation.

Deliver high-quality, person-centred PBS services to individuals with complex needs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective Behaviour Support Plans.

Contribute to strategic planning and service development initiatives.

About You

Advanced or Specialist level skills and experience in Positive Behaviour Support.

Proven experience in team leadership and clinical supervision.

Strong background in working with individuals with complex behaviours.

Eligibility as a PBS Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practices.
