In this role you will be responsible for all financial accounting processes and reviewing payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis.

The role

Reporting directly to the CFO and managing two direct reports, you'll be responsible for:

Month end and year-end group financials with commentary

Payroll, journals, reconciliations and cashflow reporting

Tax lodgements (BAS, PAYG, FBT), super and statutory obligations

Managing fixed assets, intercompany transactions and trade finance

Budgeting, forecasting and system/process improvements

Supporting audits, analytics, and business projects

• Reviewing payroll processed by the team

About you

CA/CPA qualified with strong experience in financial accounting

Confident managing staff and working across business units

Skilled in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (large ERP systems and/or Xero, MYOB ideal)

Background in manufacturing or project-based industries highly regarded

Solutions-focused, hands-on and collaborative by nature

• Handson experience with payroll processing and reviewing - you will be reviewing the payroll processed my the team so this is essential
