About the Role
Location: Canberra City
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (30-38 hours per week)
As a Trainer & Assessor (ECEC), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment within a supportive, innovative, and compliant Registered Training Organisation (RTO) framework. You'll collaborate closely with the Education and Training Unit to create dynamic, engaging learning experiences that support and empower students to succeed in the ECEC industry.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Designing and delivering impactful training sessions that inspire and inform
Supporting students to reach their full potential through mentoring and tailored guidance
Conducting assessments that align with AQF and 2025 Standards for RTOs
Liaising with trainees and employers to coordinate placements and monitor progress
Developing engaging course content and assessment tools
Monitoring and recording student achievements with accuracy and care
Staying at the forefront of ECEC trends, VET sector compliance, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic professional who brings:
· A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116)
· Qualifications in Early Childhood Education and relevant industry experience
· Strong knowledge of VET sector standards and compliance
· Outstanding communication, presentation, and organisational skills
· A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and lifelong learning
· The confidence to work independently while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative team
