We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative who is driven to succeed in a team environment to take on a successful Victoria and South Australia sales territory. A love for all things equine will see you settling into an exciting role working with product you love.

The Business:

Our client is a well-established wholesale and distribution company representing many leading international equine brands throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. They are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic person to join their successful team. An experienced sales representative with a strong track record in building and maintaining relationships. If you come from a retail background and understand the fundamentals of building and maintaining relationships and meeting KPI's, and would like the opportunity to make a career change into a Sales Representative role, then this role is ideal for you. The Role:

This is a full time position, hybrid role which will see you on the road most of the time. Ideally you will be based in Central Melbourne or West Melbourne. In your fully maintained vehicle you will be travelling to the stockists from around Melbourne, Regional VIC and S.A. They work on a seasonal, 6 cycle year, so a typical quarter consists of at least 6-8 weeks of travel with any non-travel time being used to plan, follow up, document and develop strategies for this customer data base. This time is hybrid.
You can take ownership of your role and thrive on exceeding your targets and contributing to the business outcomes. You will have full autonomy, and ongoing support and training to ensure your success will be achieved.

Skills and Experience:

* A successful relationship builder with demonstrated ability to achieve significant sales targets
* Over three years of sales experience preferred; however, we welcome candidates with exceptional interpersonal skills, a grounded and approachable demeanour, unwavering determination to learn a new product range, and a strong drive to connect with customers and drive sales.
* Experience or interest in rural and/or equestrian industries is preferred.
* 3 + years of Retail experience in the industry
