We are a Husqvarna garden machinery dealership in Ellenbrook, in the northern peripheral suburbs of Perth.

We’re seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Small Engine Mechanic/Technician to join the team ideally on a full time basis however we would contemplate on an ABN holder on contract basis.

Please do not hesitate to make application if you are an LV mechanic who can adapt, or maybe you do not have certification but have good experience in the role.

Although predominantly Husqvarna, we provide services [and sharpening] to all brands of garden machinery, being ride-on mowers, reel mowers chainsaws, line trimmers and small engines, we’re looking for pride in your workmanship.

Our well-equipped workshop at the rear of the sales area is centrally located amid other similar and complimentary style businesses and attracts a customer base from residential, semi-rural and rural properties.

About the role

Ideally, your day would comprise servicing and repair to ride-on mowers, chainsaws, trimmers etc. We’re going to depend on your knowledge, experience and confidence when dealing with machinery and customers. Reporting to a friendly and supportive business owner in the sales area, the primary purpose of this position is to provide the best possible service to all customers whilst completing regular services, maintenance and repairs to a range of garden and small engines. If you can produce quality work in a timely manner, incentives can be offered to suit you and your circumstances.

About you

Primarily we’re looking for a great personality with the ability to communicate whilst swinging spanners! Additionally you will have some form of mechanical trade qualifications and know your way around chainsaws, lawnmowers, trimmers & ride-on mowers. Workplace culture is important to us so you’re going to need to be a happy motivated all-round great person with the ability to fit into a fast paced workshop. It’d be great if you also know your way around Biscount, our operating platform, or at least have some computer skills.
