As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems. Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems and components

Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions

Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery such as transformers to ensure optimal functionality

Documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications accurately

Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes through innovative ideas and suggestions

Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during testing procedures

Providing technical support to internal teams as required

This role will require some flexibility to work away from home as needed.

Desired skills and experience include:

Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering or a related field

Proficiency in using CAD software for technical drawings and designs

Ability to conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment

Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an engineering environment

Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members

Aptitude for working independently and managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines

Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, or 2 years relative experience in this area

Hourly rate starts at $38 per hour ($75,000pa), dependent on skills and knowledge. Other benefits include:
