The Cottage Surgery blends traditional values of holistic whole of life care with modern medicine. We are an independent medical practice which has been operating in its current site for over 50 years. We have strong patient loyalty and good links with the local community. We are looking for a nurse 3 days a week to work with 2 other RNs and the team of GPs and reception staff.

Qualifications & experience

Current AHPRA registration. Need to be comfortable using computers. We have a culture of learning and training is provided for the role.

Experience in General Practice helpful but not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

Wound care & infection control

Immunizations & cold chain management

ECG, Spirometry, ABIs and general obs

Assist with care planning and health checks

Assist with baby blue book checks and vaccinations

Assist doctors with clinical procedures

Maintaining stock

Recalls & reminders

Assist with accreditation
