Amaze World, a multi-award-winning tourist destination, is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our vibrant team, in a newly created role. Operating similarly to an Assistant Manager (effectively 2IC to the General Manager), you’ll oversee our café and admissions areas with a special focus on food & beverage service. You will also be playing a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality, memorable guest experience. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fun, supportive environment, with the chance to grow alongside the business as we continue an exciting growth phase filled with new projects and opportunities.

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our café and admissions sections, whilst also working hands-on. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, a welcoming guest experience, maintaining a positive & vibrant team culture and the continuous development of our team members.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and lead a vibrant, customer-focused team
Training, coaching, and developing team members
Deliver an engaging and high-value guest experience
Maintain high standards of guest service, food & beverage service, and cleanliness
Managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory
Handling guest queries and complaints (face-to-face, phone, and email)
Planning and coordinating functions, events, and group bookings
Plan shifts and allocate tasks for seamless daily operations
Driving change management to improve operational efficiency
Prepare and serve food and beverages, operate POS systems
Essential Criteria:
Positive and enthusiastic personality
Previous supervisory experience, ideally in the hospitality or tourism industry
Strong customer service background with a focus on guest engagement
Must be able to work weekends, Queensland school holidays, and peak periods
Hands-on approach to leadership and team management
Willingness to undergo a police check
Adaptable and comfortable with change, in what can be a fast-paced environment
Preferred Criteria:
RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), RMLV and First Aid qualifications. Or willingness to obtain.
Experience in café, restaurant, or similar hospitality operations
