St Mark’s College – a vibrant, inclusive, and values-driven residential academic community – is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing and Communications Officer to lead the promotion of our College to prospective students and stakeholders across Australia and around the world.

About the role
In this varied and rewarding position, you will:
Drive the College’s student recruitment strategy, ensuring our community is full with high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds.
Manage and grow our marketing, communications, and digital presence – including our website, social media, and College publications.
Develop strong relationships with schools, universities, students and parents, acting as an ambassador for the College.
Lead and coordinate recruitment events, expos, Open Days and College tours – often in regional and interstate locations.
Work with the Head of College and our exceptional staff team on strategic branding, communications campaigns and business development opportunities.
Supervise student leaders in outreach, photography, and videography.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who is as confident crafting compelling content as they are presenting to students or advising on strategy.
About you
You are a confident communicator and creative thinker with:
Proven experience in marketing, communications, or student recruitment.
Excellent writing and digital media skills, with a flair for storytelling.
A passion for education and student life, and an ability to build rapport across diverse audiences.
Experience with social media platforms, website management (e.g. WordPress), email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp), and graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Strong organisational and project management skills.
A current driver’s licence and a willingness to travel regularly, including to regional areas.
Experience in the university or student accommodation sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
