2 x roles for Intermediate Accountant

Opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate Accountant has come available to the marketplace to join this established and reputable firm in Penrith. You will be a part of an organisation that provides strong training and development to fast track your knowledge and career. This CA firm works with a variety of clients including SMEs, family groups, investments, not-for-profits and large private businesses.

Working with a supportive Manager, you will be responsible for:

The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various SME's, high net-worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and SMSFs

Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST reconciliations

Preparation of FBT returns

Identifying and application of CGT and Div7a

Assist in tax planning

Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies in relation to clients' tax issues

Ideally you will have:

Approximately 2 years experience (or more) in public practice

Relevant Accounting/Commerce degree

Looking to commence CA/CPA or studying

Proficient with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and Microsoft applications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to the potential client facing nature of role

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
