THE COMPANY

Representing an amazing opportunity with a very friendly and relaxed CA firm based in Parramatta. This company has been servicing clients over the past 20 years, incorporating primarily small to medium sized businesses, as well as an increasing number of SMSFs.

THE ROLE

Due to increased demand, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Intermediate Accountant to complement their team. You will have good client contact and involvement across all levels of the job, with the opportunity to build strong relationships. You will also receive a good amount of exposure to to a variety of tax and advice matters.

Working with a supportive Manager, some primary responsibilities include:

Preparing financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds

Preparing tax returns for the above entities as well as individuals

Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements

Prepare more specialist tax work, including Div7A, CGT and FBT

Assisting your portfolio of clients with their accounting requirements

Providing technical advice and adding value to your client portfolio

REQUIREMENTS

At least 3+ years' local experience in business services/public practice

Relevant Accounting/Commerce degree

CA/CPA studying/upon completion

Proficient with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and Microsoft applications

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Excellent client relationship skills and can work independently and as part of a team
