Our Client is an Australian family owned and operated dry, cold and freezer storage, logistics and distribution provider servicing medium to large food producers and import/export clients.

Due to recent growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader - Cold Storage.

Temp to Perm after 3 months

$47 per hour

Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Develop the Team: Direct, motivate, and allocate tasks to the warehouse team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols and SOPs. Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.

Drive Inventory Accuracy: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and timely data entry in the WMS. Conduct regular inventory checks and manage temperature records and stock rotation.

Optimize Operational Efficiency: Ensure seamless and safe warehouse operations in compliance with regulations (ADAWR, HACCP). Monitor equipment functionality, report damages, and implement process improvements.

Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure proper storage in temperature-controlled zones, continuously monitor temperature levels, and proactively address and report any quality issues.

What we are looking for in our ideal candidate:

Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with specific experience in cold storage operations highly regarded.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and accurate data entry skills.

Knowledge of and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

A proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
