Bayside Plasterboard is a leading supplier of plasterboard and building materials across South-East Queensland. With continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Office Manager to lead our Brisbane branch administration team.

About the Role:
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the office administration and accounts functions at our busy Brisbane branch. You'll manage a small, close-knit team, lead the day-to-day office operations, and ensure our customers and suppliers receive professional, efficient service.
The role suits someone who is hands-on, organised and enjoys working with people at all levels. From your team to suppliers, customers and management.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and managing the administration and accounts team.
- Overseeing customer orders, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable.
- Managing credit control and payment follow-ups.
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and assisting with month-end processes.
- Supporting and coaching your team to perform at their best.
- Managing staff rosters, attendance, and leave approvals.
- Working closely with our Sales, Operations, and Logistics Managers to keep things running smoothly.
- Helping build and maintain a positive, family-focused team culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience leading a team in an office or accounts environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and customer account management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/accounting systems (we are onboarding Odoo ERP currently, but training is provided).
- A positive leader who values teamwork and problem-solving.
- Experience in the building, trade, or construction industry (advantageous, but not essential).
What’s On Offer:
- $80,000 - 90,000 + superannuation salary package.
- Full-time, permanent position with stable hours (Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm).
