Tasmea's newest subsidiary business - a civil contracting company servicing the mining & resources sector with various ongoing projects running nationwide, is on the hunt for an experienced Project Engineer.

As Project Engineer you will be responsible for the planning and construction management and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role involves ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, clients, and contractors to support project success and business growth.

This will be a FIFO role as head office is based in Perth, but the project is based in QLD.
Flexible rosters offered and can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project plans and specifications for civil works

Conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections

Manage project technical aspects from initial concept through to completion

Support Project Managers with technical advice, scoping, and project execution

Prepare and review technical reports, designs, and drawings

Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Monitor and report project progress against key milestones and budgets

Assist with risk management processes, identifying and mitigating project risks

Maintain clear, professional communication with clients regarding technical aspects of projects

Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil desirable)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil construction or engineering roles with experience in mining and resources projects highly regarded

White Card (Construction Induction Training)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar design software

Practical experience managing civil projects in the mining, resources, or infrastructure sectors

Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
