As someone with professional work experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics, and expertise with Microsoft data tools SSIS / SSRS / SSAS, Fabric, Databricks, SQL Server, and experience in Azure data tools including Data Factory - you understand the value of data to help solve business problems.

You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and see projects through from end-to-end including mapping business processes, conduct requirements analysis, and documentation. Most importantly you understand that your role is all about helping our client source, transform and interpret data into actionable metrics to optimise their business.

Required skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on experience across Microsoft on-prem BI stack SSIS + SSRS + SSAS
• Advanced skills in SQL Server
• Experience with Azure data tools - Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Fabric, Logic Apps
• Expertise across Datawarehouse/ETL
• Python skills an advantage
• Experience working in a complex enterprise data warehouse environment
• Solid Agile environment experience
• Knowledge and experience of DWH, Data Lakes, and analytics best practice
• Ability to develop requirements into actionable business analytics strategies, roadmaps, and solutions
• Able to quickly build strong relationships with decision-makers, and become their trusted advisor
