The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director/Head of School, this position is responsible for supporting students throughout their learning journey. The position is responsible for establishing initial contact with the student and providing ongoing non-academic support to students throughout their course. This may include activities such as training students in the use of a learning management system, coordinating course credit & RPL’s, managing complaints, special considerations and other student requests and activities.

The role works in partnership with the academic team to provide a seamless and engaging student experience. The role requires data entry & records management, utilising ACHW’s Student Management System and Learning Management Systems in order to run reports and tasks to assist in the ongoing support and retention of students.

Key Responsibilities

Make initial contact with newly enrolled students within 24 hours and provide onboarding support, including Moodle demonstrations.

Deliver ongoing, non-academic support via calls and emails to ensure student satisfaction and retention.

Manage student queries and requests, including extensions, withdrawals, enrolments, technical issues, and complaints.

Maintain accurate student records and communications using Salesforce and Moodle systems.

Collaborate closely with academic and retention teams to support students throughout their learning journey.

Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in policy, compliance, and team activities.

Assist in reporting and administrative tasks, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and regulatory standards.

About you

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a student-facing or customer service role, ideally within higher education.

Skilled communicator with a student-first mindset and ability to build rapport and trust with diverse learners.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results.

Proficient in using Moodle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Demonstrates empathy, patience, and professionalism in all student and staff interactions.

Able to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to a supportive and high-performing environment.
