We’re currently seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Designer to join our growing design team.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Designer at Garsden and Clarke, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, builders, and specifiers to bring inspired spaces to life. From guiding finish selections to designing within budget, you’ll play a vital role in creating cabinetry solutions tailored to each client’s lifestyle and vision. A solid understanding of the building and renovation process will contribute to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their cabinetry and renovation needs

Design customised kitchen and cabinetry plans using CAD software

Deliver creative, practical solutions that align with client budgets

Explain the renovation process to clients, including sub-trade coordination, to effectively manage expectations and ensure a smooth project completion.

Present design concepts and incorporate feedback

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution

What You’ll Bring

Ideally 5+ years of experience in kitchen design

Practical experience in both the building process and sub-trade coordination

Confidence in conducting client appointments onsite and providing design guidance

Solid understanding of joinery and construction techniques

Proficiency in CAD (or equivalent design software)

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Strong attention to detail and a refined design sensibility

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
