A fantastic opportunity has become available for a full time experienced commie or chef de partie chef to join the kitchen team at the Transcontinental hotel. The team is happy, works well and have been together for a long time, early finishes 8pm, Lunch and dinner Shifts, staff parking
you will report and work directly with the hands on Head Chef and sous chef.
Be able to run your own section. larder and fryer. grill, ensuring service is smooth as well as assist with other sections if required.
passionate about cooking food from scratch with good knife skills and know how to get on with the the daily prep list
To be considered for this position you must possess the following;
Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume outlet.
Excellent cooking skills with experience in all cooking techniques and styles
Good communication skills
Ability to maintain consistent high standards
Understand the ability to maintain food safe standards and HACCP
Excellent organisation skills
