About the role:

Join the team in transforming how the Water and Wastewater Unit delivers value by shaping smart, efficient processes that align with corporate goals and meet all legislative requirements. Bring these improvements to life through dynamic, hands-on training that empowers teams, lifts capability, and drives real results across the organisation.

What's on offer:
  • a base salary ranging from $81,860 per annum with competency-based increments up to $96,965 per annum, plus 11.5% super
  • 70 hour, 9 day fortnight
  • a maximum-term contract up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension subject to performance, funding and operational need

We are seeking:
  • Tertiary qualifications or post-graduate qualifications in a training related discipline such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate in Adult Education or Graduate Diploma in Education.
  • Experience in implementing change management and business improvement projects in a large organisation.
  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint and business systems in a large organisation.
  • Skilled in developing procedures, user manuals and delivering training using modern technology for individuals and groups.
  • Strong research, problem-solving and data analysis skills to identify business improvement opportunities and implement new business processes.
  • Ability to work well in a team and build organisation-wide relationships to implement customer solutions and drive business improvements.

This position is based in Tweed Heads and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
