We are seeking multiple ServiceNow Developers to write and test code, optimise software for speed and capability, evaluate and test new software, and design and maintain software systems under limited supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop ServiceNow solutions including scripting, configuration, integrations, and customisations.

Collaborate with business analysts, user researchers, and service designers to understand business requirements and develop final working solutions.

Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications and modules.

Provide advanced technical support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.

Ensure system stability and performance through regular maintenance and upgrades.

Required qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations using best practices and standards.

Holds a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and one or more ServiceNow Mainline Certifications at an Implementation Specialist level in IT Service Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Service Mapping, Customer Service Management, or Human Resources.

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in ServiceNow that meets business needs.

Proficiency in using Microsoft development practices, platforms, and technologies (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps).

Demonstrated experience in monitoring system health and proactively addressing any issues to minimise downtime.

Preferred qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications or industry-recognised certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.

Industry-recognised ServiceNow certification, such as ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM), or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL and TOGAF.

Experience delivering large-scale ICT transformation projects/programs, preferably in a Commonwealth Government setting.
