North Shore location paying up to $90K + Super for a 6-month contract. Pro-rated to 4 days/week.

Company Background

Our client is a growing NFP with a fantastic reputation in the market. They take a person-centred approach to their operations and with a passionate and talented team, they sport very strong employee retention.

They are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to cover personal leave for 6 months.

The Role

This Junior Accountant position is a 6-month contract role, working 4 days per week. This is a broad role in a small finance team for a hands-on Junior accountant. Your duties will include:

Accounts payable

Accounts receivable

Bank reconciliations

Month end journals

Your Background

To be considered for this Junior Accountant position, you will have prior experience working as an Accounts Clerk, Assistant Accountant, or Finance Officer which includes transactional processing as well as month-end. Our client needs someone available to start on one week’s notice or less.

Ideally, you would have previous exposure to Not-for-Profit organisations.

As this role has a strong likelihood of extension, preference will be given to candidates with permanent residency.
