The Opportunity

Our team, at the Monash University Performing Arts Centres, are looking for experienced customer service staff to join our Front of House team. Representing MPAC, across five unique performing arts venues, you will be the first point of interaction for our visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable in attending the range of events we have to offer. Some of your other key duties will include:

  • Representing MPAC at all times whilst on duty, in a positive and warm manner
  • Proactively engaging customers, and responding to customer needs
  • Ensuring OH&S procedures are understood and adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring amenities and facilities are maintained in clean and safe manner at all times to welcome patrons
  • Checking tickets and ushering patrons to seats (including those with access requirements)

About YOU!

To be successfully considered for these opportunities, you will have demonstrated face-to-face customer service experience acquired ideally, within the performing arts, or hospitality industries. You will demonstrate high levels of customer service experience through a warm and welcoming personality whilst also being able to display empathy at all times. You will be a strong team player and enjoy collaborating with others with a key focus on safety and appropriate process and procedure adherence. A current, up-to-date Working with Children Check and RSA certificate are essential to be considered. First Aid and/or emergency management training or experience is highly regarded, and candidates with tour guide experience are also encouraged to apply.
