We’re looking for a Duty Manager to assist with the smooth and professional delivery of corporate and community events at Brisbane City Hall.

About the Role:

As a Duty Manager, you’ll be the go-to person on the ground—overseeing event setup, coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders, and ensuring everything runs to plan. You’ll represent our venue with confidence and professionalism, maintaining high standards of service, safety, and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience in managing or supervising corporate events
✅ A hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to lead by example
✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
✅ Availability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends
✅ A calm, composed presence under pressure

What You’ll Be Doing:

Overseeing event operations from bump-in to bump-out

Liaising with clients, AV teams, and venue staff

Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and venue policies

Responding to any issues swiftly and professionally

Delivering exceptional customer service at every event
