About the role:
The Senior HR Systems Officer provides specialist advice to support the day-to-day operations of the department's People and Culture (P&C) human resource (HR) and payroll systems and applications across the Department.

The role is responsible for undertaking implementation, evaluation and enhancement activities across P&C operational and corporate business information systems and applications. In addition to this, the role holds responsibility for providing a range of system support services across a range of P&C HR systems to all internal stakeholders who utilise the P&C HR systems and associated applications across the Department.

The Senior HR Systems Officer needs to contribute to continuous improvement of the delivery model of P&C services to the Department for Education Stakeholders by leveraging the latest technologies and service models.

Qualifications:
Essential: A tertiary qualification in information systems and applications or equivalent experience.
Desirable: Payroll experience an advantage.

Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
