About the role

Matrix Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team in Fawkner. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and development of our young learners. What you'll be doing

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, exploration and play-based learning

Closely observe and assess children's progress, creating tailored learning plans to support their individual needs

Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure a consistent, holistic approach to each child's development

Actively participate in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher in a long day care or preschool setting

Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs

Passion for nurturing young minds and a commitment to supporting each child's holistic development

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
