About the Role:
As our new Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll lead the planning and implementation of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). You’ll work closely with families, children, and a supportive team to foster a love for learning and help our little ones grow and develop through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Curriculum: Design and deliver creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that foster children's cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Ensure the curriculum reflects the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
Create a Nurturing Environment: Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where each child can thrive.
Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess children's progress to tailor learning activities to their individual needs, interests, and developmental stages.
Collaboration with Families: Develop positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring open communication about each child’s progress, milestones, and needs.
Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Follow all regulations and standards set by the National Quality Framework (NQF) and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure safety, compliance, and quality care.
Support Social and Emotional Development: Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being through supportive interactions and guidance.
Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development to keep up to date with the latest in early childhood education practices and trends.
Key Requirements:
Qualification: A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher
Skills and Attributes:
Passionate about working with young children and fostering a love of learning
Ability to create engaging, dynamic, and age-appropriate educational experiences
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work
Current First Aid and CPR certification
VIT registration
