Pegasus Supply Solutions is Australia’s premier provider of travel retail and duty-free products, servicing cruise lines, airlines, duty-free retailers, consulates, and defence organisations.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Company Accountant to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is ideally suited to a finance professional who is passionate about accounting and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

As the Company Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the business, contributing directly to our continued success and expansion.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Month-end and year-end closing, including all aspects of the accounting process (journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations).

· Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and monthly management reports

· Ensuring compliance with accounting standards

· Maintain fixed asset registers.

· Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and superannuation obligations.

· Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and support external audits.

· Maintain appropriate documentation for tax, audit, and statutory purposes.

· Oversee AP/AR processes and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely payments and collections.

· Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.

· Manage employee reimbursements and payroll journals. (Employment Hero)

· Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making across departments.

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

· Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance efficiency.

· Support the General Manager in ad hoc analysis and projects.

Qualifications & experience

· Business / Finance qualifications

· CPA is preferred but not essential.

· 3 years + experience in similar role

· Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP is preferred

· Ability to work independently

Location and hours of work:

· Office based in Revesby, Sydney with ability to work from home (1 day per week remote possible after successful probation period)

· The nature of the position will require work generally between the hours of 8.00am – 4.00pm, Monday – Fridays
