St George Motor Boat Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of house Catering Manager who is ready to lead our front of house team in delivering exceptional food and service.

We are looking for a Front of house Catering Manager to oversee and grow our catering operations with a focus on functions and events. This is a hands-on leadership role where excellence, attention to detail, and a passion for service are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate front of house staff for catering events, ensuring excellent customer service and event execution

Collaborate with internal function coordinators to understand the event requirements and preferences related to food

Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation

Create and manage staff rosters, ensuring adequate staffing for events and optimal labour management

Coordinate the delivery of quality catering services for events, meetings and daily operations

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, WHS standards, liquor licensing and Club policies

Requirements:

Proven experience in a catering management or hospitality leadership role

Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple events simultaneously

Strong organisational and leadership skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Working Hours:

This role requires flexible hours and is not your traditional 9-5 position. You will be expected to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to accommodate event schedules. A flexible and adaptable approach to work hours is essential for success in this role.
