About the role

Bespoke Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Perth, WA. In this casual role, you will provide exceptional person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to promote their wellbeing and community inclusion
• Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and empowering manner
• Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement personalised support plans
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support the delivery of high-quality care
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or IV in Disability or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with clients
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on promoting client independence
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities
