KindleCare Disability Support is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider based in Perth, WA. We offer person-centred care through a range of disability services. We aim to support individuals and families in living autonomously and promote a greater quality of life.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Disability Support Worker located in Perth, WA. The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for assisting people with disabilities to achieve their goals by providing individual support, helping with daily tasks, and advocating for their rights and needs.

Qualifications

Strong ethics and reliability

Compassion and commitment to improving the quality of life of clients

Experience in a carer position within the healthcare or NDIS/Disability Sector, or related field preferred

Cultural competence and the ability to work respectfully and effectively with staff of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) backgrounds

Being fluent in a second language is preferred, especially in Arabic or Somali

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Sense of appropriateness and professionalism

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Fast learner, flexible and versatile

Basic computer skills
