About the role

Belta Support Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Perth and Kalgoorlie WA. This is a casual role, providing in-home support and assistance to individuals with disabilities to help them live independently and thrive in their communities.

What you'll be doing

Providing personal care and daily living assistance, including help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation

Supporting clients to participate in recreational and social activities in the community

Assisting with mobility and using assistive equipment as needed

Documenting client progress and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team

Advocating for clients' rights and promoting their independence and wellbeing

Maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for clients

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated experience providing support and personal care to individuals with disabilities or complex needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
