As Clinical Lead – Child Sexual Abuse, you’ll champion trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic excellence for children, young people, and families impacted by child sexual abuse. You’ll guide and mentor a dedicated team, provide expert clinical supervision, and shape best-practice frameworks that empower clients to move from surviving to thriving. Working collaboratively across Anglicare WA and with sector partners, you’ll drive innovation, support healing journeys, and foster a culture where every child’s voice is heard and valued.
This is a a max term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) opportunity until 30 June 2026, based in East Perth.
What you will bring
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications – a degree in Counselling, Social Work or Psychology, registered with PACFA, AASW or AHPRA
- Extensive experience working with children and families in a clinical modality, following experiences of child sexual abuse
- Five years’ experience providing clinical supervision
- Culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to working with remote and Aboriginal communities, emphasising education, awareness, and community-led solutions
- Specialist knowledge and experience in child development and attachment theory, trauma and its impact, biopsychosocial and sociolegal complexities, needs of parents and caregivers, harmful sexual behaviours, child protection and legal systems.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt clinical practice approaches to meet the needs of diverse client cohorts
- Ability to deliver and receive effective and respectful feedback readily and openly
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check and a WA Drivers Licence.

- $109,440 annual salary + super
- 11.5% superannuation
