As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of a team of mechanics and tradespeople, ensuring efficient and safe maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in trucks.
• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure truck roadworthiness.
• Inspect, test, and adjust vehicle systems and components (e.g., engines, brakes, transmissions).
• Replace worn or damaged parts and components efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and workshop standards at all times.
  
  

Qualifications:

Relevant mechanical trade qualification.

Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of relevant equipment, trucks and systems.

Strong commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
