Nuage Technology Group has partnered with a rapidly scaling business based in the heart of Canberra. We’re looking for a Senior Azure Engineer to join a cross-functional team supporting a large-scale digital transformation program. You’ll work closely with the Systems and Platforms team to deliver Azure-based systems.

About the role:

Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and supporting capability growth.

Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based solutions aligned with business needs and technical standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure reliable system operations.

Oversee project delivery, including documentation, timelines, budgets, and governance compliance.

Provide expert advice and reporting to leadership, contributing to strategic outcomes.

About you:

Hands-on experience with core Azure services: IaaS, Azure Functions, Azure WebApps, Storage, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure AD / Entra, Azure B2C, and API Management.

Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code using ARM or Bicep templates.

Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while fostering a strong technical culture.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across distributed teams.

Analytical and strategic mindset with experience improving systems, managing risk, and delivering in complex environments.
