Pryan Pty Ltd is recruiting a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Software Engineer for a long-term federal government engagement. You'll contribute to enterprise-scale IAM platforms that support secure access to critical government services used daily by millions of Australians.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement IAM solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and ADFS

Build and maintain custom identity services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, OWIN)

Integrate authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect

Automate IAM processes using PowerShell and Azure-native tools

Troubleshoot identity issues across hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud)

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to capability uplift

Required Skills and Experience

NV1 security clearance must be held at commencement

Strong background in Microsoft IAM technologies and secure identity architecture

Proven .NET development skills with identity use cases

PowerShell scripting experience for identity automation

Familiarity with hybrid identity environments (e.g. Azure AD Connect)

Contract Details

Contract via Pryan Pty Ltd to a major federal government agency

12-month initial term from 1 July 2025, with extensions highly likely

Location: Canberra (preferred) or Brisbane

Onsite for first 6 weeks, then hybrid model (minimum 3 days onsite/week)

Contractor rate: $170/hr
