BTYC Gymnastics is one of Victoria’s leading gymnastics clubs, with over 1,200 members and a dynamic team of 75 coaches and support staff. We pride ourselves on our gymnastics expertise, exceptional customer service, and our welcoming, inclusive community.
You’ll find us at our Donvale location in the Manningham DISC building, located at 360 Springvale Road.
About the role
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Customer Service Administrator to be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our members.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering outstanding customer service via email, phone, and in-person interactions
Processing new member sign-ups, managing account changes, and handling merchandise sales
Directing inquiries to appropriate staff and updating member records
Collaborating with management and coaches to resolve customer queries in a timely manner
Maintaining and updating our customer and industry-specific databases
Following up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved
Assisting with basic website updates and social media posts
Performing general administrative duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A friendly, empathetic, and professional manner
Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, team-oriented attitude
Desirable requirements
Experience or knowledge in gymnastics or sporting clubs
Essential requirements
Working with Children Check
Experience in a similar customer service role.
Ideal role for someone seeking casual ongoing work. Available to work Thursday and Friday afternoons from 2pm-7pm, with flexibilty for some daytime shifts and covering other staff when required.
